They will probably be higher on labor than your neighborhood carpet company, but they will be competitive on the material. On a small job there shouldn’t be a very big price difference between contractors and if you hire Home Depot you have a large company warranting the work.

you have 33 1/3 square yrds home d or lows uses installers that are not in the area you would be better off with a smaller co they use locals that pride themselves in thier work thats how they get jobs by refferals the larger do it your self centers do so much volume that they dont care about you it will be hard for you to find reliable people there they lure you in by telling you that you get free pad or install nothing in life is free and everything is extra HD and LWS charges 9 a yard for install cpt and pad varys by quality go to a smaller store and you will pay from 5 to 6 for install per yard about 2.50 for take up and dispose 3 for pad and then your cpt and the carpet only price is comparable to the bigger stores and as far as a company standing behind its products and service the smaller co. has more to lose so they will handle you very fairly but HD andLWS arent goin anywhere so good luck getting someone back to your place if there ever is a problem you need about a 12×25 or a 15×20 so go look for a remanant at your local flooring store its your best deal and then talk to your freinds and co workers to find an installer he will charge around 4.50 per yard install 1.50 for take up to your trash or throw him an extra 20 for his trouble and he will hual it away now all you need is cpt and pad and he probably has pad left over from jobs your gonna save alot of money and headaches heres the catch be very nice to your installer and he will bend over backwards for you but treat him like you dont trust him or like hes beneath you and you will regret it later if you have troubles or want something else done and allways pay him cash and dont hagle price this time of year we are all slow and we are tryin to feed our familys just like everyone else we are already giving you the best price just to get the work if you are in the cleveland ohio area look me up oh also STAY AWAY from discount stores they only sell seconds quality or discontinued products they are not warrented against defects and most dont have stain treat ment remember you get what you pay for
