I have an insurance question, and I’m not sure who to ask the question to. I’ve been getting my contacts through my eye doctor, and my insurance plan through work covers most of the cost of the contacts. Now, I’m thinking about buying wholesale contacts online. Will my insurance still cover the contacts, even though they’re not directly through my eye care provider? Maybe the website that I order the contacts through would have the answer to that question. If I can get the insurance to continue to cover it, buying them wholesale would save me a whole lot of money. They might even cover monovision contact lenses if you need those.
