I am about to paint interior of my house an fell in love with olympic paint sold at lowes. is this a good quality paint? Any suggestions??

Olympic paint is a good paint and if put on correctly, will last a long time and stand up to cleaning and wiping down.
Absolutely. It’s very good. Less coats than others, easier to clean up.
Never used their paint but I have their exterior stain, very good product. Did you fall in love with the colors or the paint ?? If it was their colors and you’ve used another brand of paint that you like you could have that color matched, all paint stores that I know can match each others colors and some like Ben Moore have the formulas on file, Good luck Les the painter
I’m sure it is good. If it wasn’t then Lowe’s wouldn’t carry it. They have a reputation to maintain and can’t afford to let cheap paint mess with it.
I can’t remember if Olympic makes their own paint or not.
I used to work for Rohm & Haas. They made the latex component of the paint, and also have the patent on plexiglas. They made the latex for most of the major players in the paint game. Good luck
I sold Olympic for many years. It is a good paint for your money and wears very well;i.e. kitchen and bath.
The only thing I don’t like about Olympic is that the information on the label could be more consumer friendly.
ANY paint,,except the water sold by k-mart!!!!! I use a lot paint, from different laces, and it all seems fine,,regrless of the advertising, or price. Just be sure to get the right TYPE of paint,,,( sheen, semi sheen, gloss,,interior/exterior)
Not as good as the Behr paints sold at Home Depot. Those have a lifetime warranty for about same price.
I’m an addict of Lowe’s but didn’t like Olympic paint. I ended up painting over it with Behr.
Have never used their interior paint but have used their exterior solid color stain and have been well satisfied with it for past 20 years
Yes Olympic paint is a great paint when used on a well prepared surface, however I like their American Traditions a little better. If it is the color choices of the Olympic paint that you fell in love with, they can mix those same colors in other brands as well!
It’s ok but Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams are much better. Anyone that says that Behr is a good paint has been sniffing too much paint thinner.
It might be “good” but its not the best. Behr (sold Exclusively at Home Depot) IS the best. )Proven 4 years in a row now. Do I sound like an advertisent for them? Its because I have done so many demonstrations with it I know how strong it is. I won’t paint with anything else.
