Problems with Earthbound Transmission Solved With Satellite TV

Broadcast television from terrestrial satellites has quite a few problems associated with it. For one thing, the further you are from the transmitter, the weaker the signal will necessarily be. At a certain point, the curvature of the earth will also present a problem even for transmitters wit the most power. Communications satellites have helped us solve this problem. satellite tv will not suffer from the same problems with line of sight in the way broadcast television does. Picture and sound clarity will also not be a problem thanks to digital transmission.
