By the way, they would probably notice that the fan box had been opened, and check the inside. I don’t even know what you mean by “return it and run.”
Unfortunately no. The reason one returns an item is because the item itself is defective. Maybe it was put together incorrectly or missing parts. Or if the item does not work as the buyer thought it would or other items can be returned for wrong size, color, shape, and such. Disobediant dogs are not covered. You may consider consulting a dog trainer to get your dog to stop chewing things or just give him more things that he’s allowed to chew on. If you have the National Geographic Channel, I highly suggest you watch “Dog Whisperer on Friday nights. He knows how to get your dog to behave. And it’s SO easy. I’ve been watching his shows for over a year now and when I get my new dog, I’ll know what to do for him so he doesn’t misbehave. I can’t wait!
